That's true. I never really thought about it like that but, yea, it is tough to stay on someones back about taking you out so you can get some practice in! It does seem more recreational. Like a social sport.
I'm trying to do some searching for MB'ers in my area. Austin is rich with different sports, so someone needs to start a group here and get the word out about MB!!
Not as much as I would like. That's mainly because you need a boat to pull you around. So then you have to coordinate with others who do have boats. It's kind of a pain. I'd dig a sport that doesn't require a huge expensive vehicle!
Actually, I've never done any mountain boarding. In Austin, Texas, there isn't much MB activity. But there is a lot of wakeboarding. I'll get my chance to MB!!

Im good the course has been destroyed by assholes though but its cool as long as I still got my board. You good hope so and know so. I am trying to get everybody to come ride one day think we might head up to athens and swing through there on the way back soon.
